In the context of beautiful organic structures and sustainability, I investigate how perishable materials can be made sustainable in an environmentally friendly way.
Dutch design Week 2021
This year I present a creation of orange peel. I developed this material myself. The structure of the orange peel, the inner membrane and the pips remain visible. The material is colourfast, durable and no chemicals have been added.
The second and third creations are made of horse gut and cow stomach respectively. This leather has an unprecedented special structure and is tanned with natural means.
With my creative ability, imagination and technical skills I translate ideas, which seem impossible, into unique fashion creations from unusual materials.
